As a graduate, you will gain in-depth, hands-on experience across different business areas, functions, and sites in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Portugal or Ireland, depending on your chosen position. A program designed for your future For one year, divided into three periods, you will explore how Boliden operates end to end, and how your own unique background and experience connect to the bigger picture. As a graduate, you are employed in a permanent position from day one and supported by an individual development program. Throughout the year several engaged and experienced colleagues, will guide you in your progress. You will become part of an international network of graduates and colleagues, expanding both your knowledge and connections. Six joint training weeks with top-class lecturers will challenge your thinking and give you the opportunity to further deepen your skills. After graduation you will continue your journey with a mentor for six months. In addition, you will receive practical training in project methodology and Boliden’s production methods, enabling you to apply what you learn directly in our operations. Whether you want to grow as an expert in business, engineering or tech, you will get the opportunity to grow in the area that excites you the most. In this role as a Process & Metallurgy Engineer, you'll be part of a process engineering team, working collaboratively to monitor and improve process performance in the concentrators. You will investigate process issues, work with improving metal recovery and concentrate quality, and contribute to development initiatives and projects while considering the financial impact of process performance. Responsibilities: Monitor and follow up process performance and results Troubleshoot process issues and identify improvement opportunities Work to improve production recovery and concentrate quality Consider the financial impact of process performance and improvements Participate in development initiatives and projects within the concentrators Collaborate with process engineering colleagues on process-related work Build understanding of industrial processes through hands-on work in the plant and production environment Qualifications:  University degree in process technology, chemical engineering, mining engineering, mineral engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred Who you are We think you are a forward thinker and a team thriver, who is naturally curious, and solutions oriented. Above all, you are ready to take responsibility and grow as an expert.  What you bring You hold a relevant university degree completed in 2025 or later. You can communicate clearly in English, hold a valid driver’s license and are available to start in September 2027. This role may be based in Sweden, Finland or Portugal.
