Privacy policy

This policy explains the personal information SwedJobs handles when you create an account, use job alerts, contact us or submit an employer listing.

Information you provide

We collect the information you choose to submit. Depending on the feature, this may include your email address, name, job-search preferences, profile details, saved-job identifiers, company, role details, application route and message.

How we use it

We use account and profile information to provide your private workspace, saved jobs and alerts; newsletter addresses to manage job updates; contact messages to answer your request; and employer submissions to review and prepare potential listings. We do not sell this information.

Private profiles and recruiter discovery

Your jobseeker profile is visible only to you by default. If recruiter discovery is introduced, it will remain off until you explicitly enable it. Turning discovery off again removes the profile from that experience; it is never published as a public webpage.

Service providers and storage

SwedJobs uses service providers including Vercel for hosting, Neon for database storage, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe for employer payments. They process information to operate those services. We keep information only as long as needed to provide the account, manage a request or transaction, maintain security and meet applicable obligations.

Information collected automatically

We may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the website. Non-essential analytics or advertising storage will only be used after the appropriate consent controls are available.

Saved jobs

Before sign-in, saved job identifiers stay in your browser’s local storage. When you sign in, that shortlist is synchronised to your private account so it can follow you across devices. You can remove roles with the heart button or request account deletion.

Account security

SwedJobs uses single-use email links and optional passkeys instead of account passwords. Essential session records and technical security information are processed to keep you signed in, prevent abuse and protect private areas.

Your choices

You can request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, or ask to leave the newsletter, by emailing privacy@swedjobs.com.
