About the Role You will step into a central finance role in a software-driven automotive environment where digital services, infotainment, and ADAS are key to the customer experience. In this position, you support a business area focused on intelligent vehicle software and work closely with senior leaders to turn financial data into clear decisions. Your focus spans both operational controlling and program controlling. You will help create financial transparency across ongoing operations and vehicle-related software programs, while ensuring strong governance around spend, forecasts, and approvals. The role combines hands-on finance work with a strong advisory element, giving you the opportunity to challenge assumptions, highlight risks and opportunities, and influence priorities across finance, engineering, procurement, and program management. Job DescriptionYou act as a trusted financial partner to senior leadership and provide insights that support both strategic and operational decisions. You lead monthly closing activities, including variance analysis and performance follow-up for the software organization. You track OPEX, monitor cost development, and drive actions to improve financial performance. You manage program budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for vehicle-related projects. You follow project spend, burn rate, and forecast accuracy, and you raise deviations together with recommendations for corrective actions. You create alignment between finance, engineering, procurement, and program management around budgets and priorities. You review purchase requests and supplier invoices to ensure they follow approved budgets, contracts, and internal guidelines. You lead annual budget work and recurring forecast cycles, consolidate financial plans, and prepare material for senior management. RequirementsUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent. 3–5+ years of experience in financial controlling, business partnering, or program controlling, ideally within the automotive, technology, or engineering sectors. Strong analytical skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken. Nice to haveExperience with project controlling or vehicle development programs. Experience with Excel Query/Power Query and Macros. Experience with Power BI. Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
