Assignment Description
We are seeking a highly driven Finance Business Partner to join the Finance team, supporting an Intelligent Software Center with responsibility for both Operational Controlling and Program Controlling. The role will report directly to the Head of Finance.
The Intelligent Software Center brings together digital development organizations responsible for software that powers the customer experience in modern vehicles. The organization includes teams developing digital services, infotainment systems, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), playing a central role in delivering connected, intelligent, and safe vehicles.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership within the Intelligent Software Center, providing financial insights, driving decision-making, and ensuring strong governance over program spend and operational activities. You will play a key role in planning and forecasting processes, perform proactive financial analyses, and ensure that purchase requests and supplier invoices comply with internal guidelines and approved budgets.

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
Act as the primary financial partner to the SVP Intelligent Software Center and the leadership team.
Provide clear, actionable financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively drive financial performance.
Operational Controlling
Lead the monthly financial closing process for the Intelligent Software Center, including variance analysis and performance reviews.
Support OPEX tracking and cost control.
Monitor operational KPIs and drive actions to meet financial targets.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
Program Controlling
Manage program budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for line-specific vehicle projects.
Monitor projects spend, burn rate, and forecast accuracy; highlight deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure financial alignment between engineering functions, procurement, and program management.
Governance & Approval Responsibilities
Review and approve purchase requests (PRs) and supplier invoices, ensuring alignment with program budgets, contracts, and internal guidelines.
Maintain financial transparency throughout the program lifecycle.
Planning & Forecasting
Lead annual budget processes and recurring forecast cycles for both operational and program areas.
Consolidate financial plans, evaluate assumptions, and prepare presentations for senior management.
Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial outlooks.
Qualifications and skills required for the role
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
3–5+ years of experience in financial controlling, business partnering, or program controlling, ideally within the automotive, technology, or engineering sectors.
Strong analytical skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Experience with project controlling or vehicle development programs is considered an advantage.
Must Have
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Meritorious
Experience with Excel Query/Power Query and Macros.
Experience with Power BI.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
This role requires fluency in English.
