Drive Strategic Maintenance Excellence in Gothenburg Join a large-scale industrial project as a Senior Reliability Engineer, where you will take both strategic and operational responsibility for asset structures and maintenance tactics. This hybrid contract role offers the opportunity to influence long-term reliability for critical infrastructure while collaborating with a global engineering team. The Role and Your Impact Reporting to the Asset Management Project Manager, you will act as the technical linchpin between our South African project resources and the local Gothenburg site. Your focus will be on building a robust foundation for asset performance through structured data and proactive strategies. Key Responsibilities Establish and optimize technical asset hierarchies and Bill of Materials (BOM). Define maintenance tactics utilizing RCM, FMEA, or PMO methodologies. Ensure all maintenance strategies comply with ISO 55000 standards and local regulations. Manage technical interfaces and present deliverables to diverse stakeholder groups. Verify the accuracy of technical data within CMMS/EAM environments. Professional Requirements We are looking for a senior specialist with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering. You must have at least 5 years of experience in Reliability Engineering within large-scale industrial environments. Proficiency in English is mandatory for managing international stakeholders, alongside advanced skills in systems like SAP PM, IBM Maximo, or IFS. Deep knowledge of ISO 55000 is a prerequisite for success in this role. Preferred Qualifications Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) status. Experience working with remote international teams. Knowledge of Spare Parts Optimization and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis.
