About the role
As an Accountant at Web Manuals, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and finance tasks to support the company’s global operations, spanning over our 6 offices in 5 different countries.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger reconciliations, and daily financial operations. You will also play an active role in the month-end and year-end closing processes, the preparation of financial statements and reports, and providing support during audits, budgeting, and tax filings.
In this role, you will ensure compliance with Swedish GAAP as well as internal financial policies and controls, while contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems. You will work closely with the colleagues in the Finance Team, which acts as a shared service center to all our entities. The team consists of our CFO, a Group Financial Controller, another Accountant and an Accounting assistant, where you'll report directly to the CFO. Collaboration across international teams and clear communication will be key as you help maintain accurate financial records and support strategic decision-making.
Core responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:
Perform general accounting functions, including maintaining balance sheets and accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial data accuracy.
Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Assist with audits, budgeting, and tax preparation as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Upkeeping communication with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining established and valued relationships.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2+ years of accounting experience.
Solid understanding of accounting principles according to local Swedish GAAP.

Ideally but not required, you also have:
Experience from work or studies in an international environment.
Experienced in international accounting, with US GAAP in particular.
Experience from SaaS and/or the aviation industries.
Experienced with Fortnox and QuickBooks.

Work extent: Full-time (temporary - per agreement)
Remote work flexibility: 25%
