About the role:
As a Space Test Engineer at APR Technologies you will specify, plan and execute functional, performance, and environmental test campaigns throughout the product development lifecycle. You ensure that products meet system requirements and qualification standards, collaborating closely with project teams, external test laboratories and suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
Specify, plan, execute, and document functional, performance, and environmental test campaigns throughout the product development lifecycle.
Develop test procedures, test setups, and instrumentation plans based on system requirements.
Provide input during the design phase to ensure that the design is verifiable.
Operate thermal and environmental test equipment, including thermal chambers, environmental chambers, chillers, heaters, and thermal-vacuum facilities.
Ensure accurate data collection, calibration, and analysis of test results while maintaining traceability between requirements and verification activities.
Support verification planning, FMEA, and risk assessments.
Identify and resolve issues during testing and system integration.
Produce high-quality test documentation, including procedures, test reports, and verification control documents.
Work with thermal engineers in correlating test results with thermal models.
Collaborate closely with project teams, external test laboratories, and suppliers to plan, execute, and validate test activities.

You are structured and analytical, working from requirements to results with care. You are comfortable in a fast-moving, technical environment where priorities can shift and decisions get made quickly. You work well with others, share your knowledge and take ownership of your results so that others can rely on them.
What you bring:
Engineering degree or equivalent.
Hardware testing experience.
Knowledge of test methods, instrumentation, and data analysis.
Fluency in English.
Ability to write clear protocols and reports
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Problem-solving mindset.
An extra plus if you have:
Testing experience from space projects.
Familiarity with relevant ECSS standards.
Experience with test automation, preferably using Python.
Experience with fluid systems, thermal systems or other pressurized systems.
