About the position
We at Perido are now looking for a Payroll Administrator for our client, a well-known company in the automotive industry. You will need to be working from the office located in Södertälje Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Your daily tasks
As a Payroll Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring correct and efficient payroll management throughout the payroll process. The role involves close collaboration with employees, managers and other stakeholders where you provide support in payroll-related issues, quality assure documentation and contribute to the development of processes and working methods.
Duties:
Handle payroll matters throughout the payroll process, such as new hires, employment changes, terminations and absences
Provide support and guidance to employees and managers in salary-related issues
Conduct quality checks to ensure accurate salary payments
Administer and update payroll-related documentation
Participate in year-related payroll activities, such as vacation and year-end management
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as authorities and suppliers
Participate in projects and improvement initiatives in digitalization, automation and development of payroll processes
Your qualities

You have a service-oriented way of working, are communicative and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and different contact surfaces. As a person, you are solution-oriented, take your own initiatives and work proactively to improve working methods and processes. You also have a good ability to take responsibility for your tasks and ensure that they are carried out with high quality and in accordance with current routines.

Qualifications:
Vocational higher education qualification in Payroll (YH, 1.5–2 years) + at least 5 years of end-to-end payroll experience combined with a vocational payroll qualification, or 8+ years of operational payroll experience
Experience of working in the SD Worx payroll system
Good knowledge of laws and regulations in the payroll area
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
Meritorious:
Experience with the Engineering Agreement (Teknikavtalet)
Experience of working in larger companies
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2027-04-30. Start 2026-11-02.
