About the role
ALTEN is currently looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer / Epic Owner for an exciting assignment within the automotive industry.
Are you passionate about automotive cybersecurity and interested in driving complex development activities in a highly collaborative environment? We are looking for a person who can take ownership of cybersecurity-related activities and work closely with stakeholders across the organization to support vehicle development and compliance efforts.
About the role
In this role, you will coordinate and drive cybersecurity activities throughout the vehicle development process. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that cybersecurity requirements are properly integrated, tracked, and delivered according to project plans.
This position combines technical cybersecurity understanding with coordination, planning, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
Drive and coordinate cybersecurity-related activities within vehicle development projects
Support planning, follow-up, and execution of cybersecurity work across multiple teams
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and actions related to cybersecurity deliverables
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Teams, and external stakeholders
Support cybersecurity compliance activities, including work related to UNECE R155
Follow up on progress, milestones, and project commitments
Contribute to audits, reviews, and cybersecurity assessments
Ensure documentation and required cybersecurity deliverables are completed according to project needs
We believe you have
Experience working with cybersecurity within the automotive industry
Good understanding of vehicle cybersecurity concepts, processes, and compliance activities
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a complex development environment
Ability to drive activities independently and create structure in cross-functional projects
Strong communication and coordination skills
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Meritorious
Experience with UNECE R155, ISO/SAE 21434, or similar cybersecurity regulations and standards
Experience from cybersecurity audits, certification activities, or compliance work
Experience from vehicle development programs within the automotive industry
