Verification & HIL Engineer

ALTEN in Sweden is seeking a Verification & HIL Engineer to join our team on-site in Gothenburg. You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the system, ensuring rigs are up to date with the correct software baseline and hardware/software configurations. Additionally, you will manage the verification team’s inventory and support verification activities as needed. You will also manage the verification team’s inventory, including tracking stock levels, coordinating storage, and supporting troubleshooting efforts. Collaboration with verification engineers and stakeholders will be key to ensuring efficient test operations. Your main responsibilities Maintain RIGs with the correct software baseline and required hardware/software components Ensure rig configurations are documented and aligned with verification needs Manage inventory, including tracking stock levels, usage, and replenishment Coordinate storage, labeling, and availability of inventory items Support verification activities and troubleshoot rig- and inventory-related issues Hold recurring meetings to gather input on future RIG needs and updates Maintain records, documentation, and status updates for rigs and inventory Collaborate with verification engineers and stakeholders to support test operations Present regular updates to project management on verification status and resource needs Your profile We are looking for a proactive and organized Verification / HIL Engineer with: Experience in hardware verification, HIL environments, or test lab maintenance A good understanding of SWDL, software baselines, hardware components, and test infrastructure Strong organizational and inventory management skills The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Good communication and documentation skills Meritorious: Automotive and Infotainment experience Hands-on experience in SWDL, OTA About ALTEN ALTEN is one of Europe’s largest technology and IT consulting companies with over 57,000 employees in nearly 30 countries.
