RF & Digital Design Engineers – mmWave & Beamforming 📍 Location: Lund, Sweden Semicon Nordics is hiring on behalf of one of our clients. Job Summary We are seeking talented engineers to join a high-performing development team working on advanced RF and digital chip design for next-generation wireless communication systems. We welcome candidates with strengths in one or more of the following areas: RF/RFIC design, digital design, mmWave technologies, and digital beamforming. Key Responsibilities (varies by specialization) Design, simulate, and validate RF circuits and RFIC (Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit) systems for high-frequency, high-performance applications Develop digital logic and RTL implementations supporting RF/mmWave signal processing chains Design and optimize digital beamforming architectures for advanced antenna array systems Work on mmWave frontend design, including transceivers and phased-array/antenna-integrated systems Collaborate closely with system architects, digital design engineers, and verification teams to ensure robust end-to-end chip and system performance Perform lab testing, characterization, and debugging of RF/mmWave hardware and prototypes Contribute to system-level architecture decisions balancing RF performance, power, and digital implementation constraints Required Skills & Experience (relevant to your area of expertise) BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field Hands-on experience in RF circuit/RFIC design, digital design (VHDL/SystemVerilog), or mmWave/beamforming architectures Experience with relevant design tools (RF: ADS, HFSS, or similar; Digital: Vivado, Quartus, or similar) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bridge RF and digital design domains Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred/Meritorious Experience with 5G, 6G, or advanced wireless connectivity products Experience with RFIC (Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit) design specifically Knowledge of antenna array systems and phased-array signal processing Experience with RF/mmWave lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators) 📩 Interested candidates: please share your updated CV to prianka.raina@semiconservicenordic.com
