About the position Perido is currently looking for a Relocation Project Manager to our large client in the automotive industry. In this role, you will take full responsibility for leading and coordinating a major operational relocation project from planning through to final handover, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to ongoing business activities and daily operations. The position is placed in Gothenburg. Your daily tasks As the Relocation Project Manager, you will take full ownership of planning, organizing, and executing the operational transfer between facilities. Your main responsibilities will include: Creating a comprehensive inventory of assets, equipment, furniture, technical installations, and operational requirements Assessing dependencies, prerequisites, and site adaptations required for the relocation Developing a detailed relocation plan, including milestones, sequencing, resource allocation, and budget follow-up Establishing a realistic timeline covering preparation, move execution, commissioning, and validation at the new location Identifying critical activities that can be completed in advance versus those requiring coordinated downtime Managing risk assessments, identifying constraints, and implementing mitigation actions to minimize business interruption Coordinating stakeholders across facilities, operations, IT, external suppliers, and business representatives to ensure alignment throughout the project Your characteristics We are looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented professional with strong project management instincts who takes clear accountability for their work. You work independently, act proactively, and have excellent stakeholder management capabilities. Qualifications: Proven track record in managing relocation, facility, infrastructure, or operational transformation n projects Demonstrated experience with asset inventory, resource planning, budget management, and timeline execution Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills with both internal teams and external suppliers Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Meritorious: Previous experience successfully leading a similar end-to-end business or facility relocation project Contract type and hours Full-time, consulting assignment until 2027-07-09.
