Sea Kayak Guide Winter 2026/2027

We’re looking for an experienced Sea Kayak Guide to join us for the winter season. You’ll lead small-group tours and experience the Stockholm Archipelago at its quietest and most unique time of year. It’s a great opportunity to develop your guiding skills and gain experience in winter sea kayaking. There may also be an opportunity to continue with us for the summer 2027 season. Your Role You independently lead sea kayak tours, keeping guests safe, engaged, and comfortable. You assess conditions, manage groups, adapt plans when needed, and assist with equipment and tour logistics. What You Bring Recognized sea kayak guide certification (EPP, Paddle UK former BCU, or equivalent) At least 2 seasons of commercial sea kayak guiding experience Current First Aid certification Confidence kayaking in a range of weather and water conditions Strong group management and guest communication skills Good risk assessment and decision-making skills Reliable and confident working independently Driver’s licence; trailer experience is an advantage Fluent English; additional languages are a plus Knowledge of Sweden and the Stockholm Archipelago, or willingness to learn What We Offer Seasonal employment from late November to mid-April Possibility to continue into summer 2027 Salary based on experience and qualifications 1–2 days off per week Assistance finding seasonal accommodation Support from our guide and operations team Free use of kayaking equipment on days off Complimentary sauna access during winter employment Small, international and supportive team Application Apply through our application form with details of your qualifications and previous guiding experience.
