Company description: Ericsson AB Job description: Join our Team About this opportunity: We are looking for a General System Manager Control Plane (BCSS CNE PDU PC S&T) to join our teams and help us develop 5Gc and soon adding 6G in a creative and collaborative environment. Ericsson Packet Core (PC) delivers connectivity, security, mobility and data routing with terabyte-scale throughput, offering features like network slicing, multi-access and cloud-native automation to customers worldwide. Both teams are in Lindholmen in Gothenburg, Sweden, and have also extensive cooperation with colleagues mainly in Shanghai and Krakow/Lodz. We offer a stimulating and supportive environment where you can develop, make a real impact, and help inspire your colleagues.As part of a team in Packet Core System & Technology, you will help strengthen our 5G market leadership while contributing to robust and maintainable products in a highly competitive market. Key elements of our 5G strategy are the development of the Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) and the Session Management Function (SMF).You will also contribute to exploring and applying AI-based tools and capabilities, both in future products and in our ways of working.   What you will do: •    Drive the PDU’s view on product vision and technology roadmap, for example through system studies•    Act as an interface towards Product Management, business regions and System & Technology (S&T) for studies, standardization and pre-sales support•    Manage system requirements and artefacts, including compliance with relevant standards•    Lead and contribute to system studies, feature analysis and 3GPP change request analysis, and provide support to business regions•    Support feature development through the full development cycle in close collaboration with design teams, including feature analysis•    Identify and improve requirements within your competence area and take responsibility for selected system artefacts   The skills you bring: •    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field•    Proven hands-on experience and solid knowledge in one or more of the following telecom domains: system management, 3GPP and Packet Core•    Strong business understanding•    Knowledge of product life cycle management•    Experience with requirement management•    Knowledge of AI- and data-driven approaches in engineering and product development•    Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail•    Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams•    Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders•    Strong relating and networking skills•    Ability to adapt and respond to change•    Willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues’ development•    Strong communication and presentation skills•    Fluent in English, both written and spoken   We look forward to your application with CV in English. Please note that we do not accept, proceed, or respond for applications sent via e-mail.
