The role We are looking for an Intelligence Lead to own the intelligence layer of the Flox platform: the machine-learning models, data pipelines and evaluation systems that turn camera, acoustic and sensor data from FloxEdge units into reliable wildlife detection, classification and behaviour understanding in the field. You will Lead the design, training and deployment of computer-vision and bioacoustic ML models for edge devices with limited compute Own the data pipeline end to end: dataset curation, annotation strategy, quality control, versioning and evaluation Define and track model quality metrics (precision/recall, false-alarm rates, latency) across deployments and drive continuous improvement from field data Work closely with embedded, hardware and product teams to ship models to FloxEdge hardware and monitor them in production Support customer and research projects (e.g. rail, airport and infrastructure pilots) with analysis and technical input Contribute to grant and R&D projects and mentor other engineers and analysts Requirements University degree (MSc or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, physics, applied mathematics or a related field At least 3 years of hands-on experience in machine learning / computer vision, including deploying models in production Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and with data tooling (e.g. cloud storage, experiment tracking) Experience with edge/embedded inference (model optimisation, quantisation, NVIDIA Jetson or similar) is highly meritorious Experience with bioacoustics, ecology or wildlife data is a plus Fluent English; Swedish is not required What we offer Permanent full-time position in Stockholm, fixed monthly salary, occupational pension and insurance, 25 days of vacation and a qualified employee stock option programme.
