The Industrialization Manager plays a key role in defining and executing the industrialization strategy, ensuring the successful transition from product design to scalable series production. The role connects Engineering, Sales, Programs, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production, ensuring that manufacturability, production standards, capacity, cost, and operational requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
As a key partner to Operations leadership, the role drives manufacturing readiness, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and long-term manufacturing development. The Industrialization Manager also leads and develops the industrialization team, creating an environment of high engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning.

This Position is placed in Gothenburg Sweden.
Your mission
Define and execute the industrialization strategy from product development through full-scale production, ensuring manufacturing readiness and scalable production.
Establish and continuously improve the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring that operational and manufacturing requirements are clearly defined and secured throughout product development.
Lead cross-functional industrialization and improvement projects, integrating manufacturing, capacity, lead time, cost, quality, and operational requirements from product ideation through customer delivery.
Drive industrialization initiatives including business cases, CAPEX investments, digitalization, transformation programs, and operational expansion projects.
Lead site capacity and workforce planning, ensuring the Gothenburg site is appropriately dimensioned to support current and future business needs.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and improve quality, productivity, delivery performance, and profitability.
Develop production flows, standardized work, training programs, and process documentation to ensure sustainable operational excellence.
Support quotations and bid/no-bid decisions by providing industrialization expertise, production cost models, scalability assessments, capacity requirements, and long-term manufacturing perspectives.
Monitor operational performance through KPIs, audits, and root cause analysis, ensuring that implemented improvements are sustained and identifying opportunities for further improvement.
Act as the subject matter expert for industrialization, manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement, while staying informed about market, customer, competitor, and industry trends.
Lead, develop, and coach the industrialization team in line with company values, business strategy, and goals, fostering high engagement, collaboration, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Your story
Must’s:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Operations, or a similar field.
Proven experience in leadership roles within manufacturing, industrialization, product development, or project management.
Deep knowledge and practical experience in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools, such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
Solid experience bridging product design and production, including defining manufacturing requirements, production readiness criteria, and stage-gate processes for new products.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, capacity requirements, and operational performance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Sales, Programs, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production.
A structured, analytical, and hands-on approach, combined with the ability to understand both the operational details and the bigger business picture.
Nice to have’s:
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
Project Management certification or formal project management training.
Experience with Electronic and space-grade manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.
Experience with data-driven decision-making, digitalization, and manufacturing transformation initiatives.
Experience with business case development, CAPEX projects, and operational expansion.
Experience with production cost modelling, quotations, and manufacturing-related commercial activities.
