About the Role
This role gives you the chance to work close to senior engineering stakeholders in an advanced automotive environment, where mechanical architecture, product insight, and cross-functional coordination all matter. You will support ongoing work within Mechanical Architecture and act as an important link between engineering leadership and Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
The assignment combines classic project coordination with hands-on work in benchmarking and weight management. You will help structure information, follow up on technical details, and turn findings into clear input for stakeholders. It is a great opportunity if you enjoy both communication and analysis, and want to contribute in a role with broad visibility across the organization.
Job DescriptionYou will support the Global Chief Engineer Mechanical Architecture with meeting planning, coordination, and meeting minutes.
You will drive day-to-day communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues on topics related to Mechanical Architecture.
You will lead and coordinate Mechanical Architecture Red Book development.
You will perform benchmarking activities, including finding and structuring information in the A2MAC1 platform and through web-based research.
You will carry out weight assessments and keep track of max axle weights, GVM, and curb weights across different architectures, vehicles, and options.
You will communicate insights and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
You will take part in workshops and meetings as needed.
RequirementsB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
Very good general automotive knowledge, including competitor product knowledge and product development knowledge related to mechanical architecture, key considerations, and how different systems interact.
Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English.
Some experience within the automotive industry.
You work independently, learn quickly, and adapt your communication to different audiences.
You are curious, helpful, and comfortable driving topics forward to get results.
Nice to haveFluency in Swedish.
