Backend Developer with Security Focus

Job DescriptionYou will design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable microservices and backend services. You will build integrations between business systems and digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that support business processes. You will work with domain experts to understand workflows and translate requirements into maintainable software. You will contribute to DevSecOps practices through secure software development, automation, and continuous improvement. You will apply secure coding principles and help identify and reduce security risks throughout the software development lifecycle. You will support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices for digital solutions. You will take part in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements across the backend landscape. You will adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture with broad knowledge sharing. RequirementsExperience developing backend applications using Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot. Strong understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful APIs. Experience designing and building scalable and maintainable backend systems. Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, including secure coding, authentication and authorization, vulnerability management, and security best practices. Interest in contributing to cybersecurity governance, policies, and the continuous improvement of secure development practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving project environment. Strong ability to collaborate across technical and business domains.
