Commodity Buyer

TitanX is looking for an experienced Commodity Buyer to drive sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and cost improvement initiatives across direct material categories. In this role, you will lead supplier management activities, coordinate regional and global sourcing projects, and work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure competitive costs, reliable supply, and strong supplier performance. About TitanX TitanX Engine Cooling AB is a global supplier of heat transfer solutions for commercial vehicle manufacturers. Together with our owner, Tata AutoComp Systems, we develop and manufacture products that support the transition towards more sustainable transportation. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing strategies for direct material categories Lead supplier negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and price management Conduct spend analysis, benchmarking, and market research Manage supplier relationships and performance in cooperation with Quality and Supply Chain teams Support sourcing projects, supplier localization, and engineering changes Drive continuous improvement and contribute to commodity strategy development What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Finance Minimum 7 years of direct material purchasing experience in the automotive industry Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills Experience with SAP and excellent Excel skills Fluent English, written and spoken Knowledge of commodities such as stamping, metals, plastics, fasteners, rubber, or welded assemblies Experience working in international and multicultural environments Willingness to travel frequently Personal Profile Results-oriented and proactive Strong team player with excellent communication skills Flexible, open-minded, and highly organized Passionate about achieving success in challenging environments Join TitanX and play a key role in shaping our global supplier network and driving sustainable cost competitiveness.
