We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team within Secure Networking at Saab's Business Unit Digital Battlespace Solutions. In this role, you will develop secure and resilient software-based network solutions. leading technical discussions and influencing architectural decisions. Our systems integrate a diverse range of technologies, including radio, satellite, fiber, and 5G. What we're looking for We are looking for a driven and curious software developer, who is eager to learn and always trying to improve. As a person, you are truly a doer, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to help us move forward. We strive for a high degree of decentralized decision making to achieve speed and quality. You will be expected to navigate ambiguous requirements to define technical specifications. Further, you should have A master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering physics, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of relevant software development experience in a professional environment. Good understanding and experience of agile development. Programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or Go. Experience working in Linux based development environments. Experience with Yocto Linux is a plus. Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN). Experience in P4 programming is a plus. Understanding of Information Assurance and Cybersecurity. Deep understanding of software-hardware interaction. Other relevant certifications are meritorious. The position is primarily performed on-site at Saab's facilities in either Linköping or Stockholm, though remote work and travel may occur. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
